Your Right to Data Deletion

At HyperGL, we respect your right to control your personal data. Under applicable privacy laws (including GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations), you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data from our systems.

What Data We Store

When you use HyperGL, we may store the following categories of data:

  • Account Data: Your name, email address, and encrypted password.
  • Workspace Data: Workspace name, team member information, and workspace settings.
  • Client Data: Client profiles, brand assets, and project information you manage.
  • Content Data: Social media posts, articles, images, and other content you create.
  • Integration Tokens: Encrypted OAuth tokens for connected services (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Analytics Data: SEO metrics, crawl data, and performance reports.
  • Usage Logs: Activity logs, audit trails, and system logs.

How to Request Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

Option 1: Email Request

Send an email to [email protected]with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the following information:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your HyperGL account
  • Your workspace name (if applicable)
  • Whether you want a complete account deletion or deletion of specific data

Option 2: In-App Request

Log in to your HyperGL account, navigate to Settings → Account, and use the "Delete Account" option. This will initiate an immediate deletion request.

Option 3: Contact Form

Visit our Contact pageand submit a data deletion request through the contact form. Select "Privacy / Data Request" as the topic.

What Happens After Your Request

  • Acknowledgment: We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days.
  • Verification: We may ask you to verify your identity to protect against unauthorized deletion requests.
  • Processing: Your data will be deleted within 30 days of verification.
  • Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming that your data has been deleted.

Scope of Deletion

Full Account Deletion

When you request full account deletion, we will permanently remove:

  • Your user account and profile information
  • All workspace data (if you are the workspace owner)
  • All client and project data within your workspace
  • All uploaded files, images, and media
  • All connected integration tokens
  • All analytics and reporting data
  • All content drafts and published content records

Partial Data Deletion

You may also request deletion of specific categories of data while keeping your account active. For example, you can request removal of specific client data, uploaded files, or integration connections.

Data We May Retain

Certain data may be retained after deletion as required by law:

  • Billing Records: Transaction history may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Legal Obligations: Data required for compliance with legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.
  • Anonymized Data: Aggregated, non-identifiable analytics data may be retained for service improvement.

Facebook / Meta Data Deletion

If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to HyperGL and wish to remove your data, you can either submit a deletion request using the methods above, or revoke HyperGL's access directly from your Facebook App Settings. When you revoke access, we will automatically receive a deletion callback and remove all associated Meta data from our systems within 30 days.

Google Data Deletion

If you connected your Google account (Search Console, Analytics) to HyperGL, you can revoke access from your Google Account Permissions. You can also request deletion of all Google-related data stored in HyperGL by contacting us.

Third-Party Data

Please note that deleting your data from HyperGL does not delete data stored by third-party services (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok). To manage data held by these services, please refer to their respective privacy settings and data deletion processes.
